7 Reasons Why Fallout 4 is Best on Xbox
Now that the dust has settled from E3, it's time to look at the reasons gamers should be purchasing Fallout 4 on the Xbox One this holiday season.
_________________________________________________________________________________
1) It comes with Fallout 3 for free
Yup that's right, it's included. Xbox One backwards compatibility is going to be one of the best features of the console in the long term, but the initiative of giving older games away for free only sweetens the deal. Fallout 3 upscaled to 1080p or 4k blows away any other version available.
On PS4 and PC gamers get nothing in addition to the base game.
2) The game runs at 1080p/30fps on all platforms
No longer will you be able to hear PC elitists brag about having 60fps as the game is confirmed to be locked at 30 fps on every platform. In the past, it's been proven that the Xbox One handles framerate better than PS4, and with the coming additions of DX12 and Windows 10 the power of the Xbox One will continue to increase, the game may eventually even get a 60fps patch on the Xbox One.
3) Exclusive Partnership with Xbox
Utilizing the unique hardware of the Xbox One has clearly been a priority for Bethesda in the case of Fallout 4. If it wasn't why would Todd Howard have appeared during the Microsoft E3 conference? He sure as hell wasn't at Sony! Exclusive features like mods (#4) will come to Xbox because of this partnership.
4) It has mods
Not all gamers are sold on this one yet, but it is obvious who the clear winner is when it comes to this point and that's Xbox, not only was this feature announced for Microsoft it will be given priority development over future PlayStation versions (if Sony even agrees to it) Bethesda says it's likely they will, but Xbox One will still be given priority if they do. And even then, Sony has turned down great ideas in the past like EA Access saying the service wasn't a good value for gamers.
5) Mods will be available through Bethesda Net
On PC there are no restrictions on mods, they are available on so many websites it's confusing and takes hours to even find the right ones. Plus, through Bethesda's service all the bullshit garbage-tier mods and other pointless crap will be filtered out so only the best, most worthwhile mods will be available.
6) Bethesda games are less buggy on Xbox
Remember Skyrim on PS3? Shouldn't even have to say it. PlayStation consoles cannot even come close to running these games. On PC, Fallout 3 is so broken and buggy you can't even run it on a computer using anything above Windows XP! Again proving Xbox is the definitive place to play.
7) The Xbox Elite Controller
Arguably, the best and highest quality gaming controller will only be compatible with the Xbox One version of the game, making it the most comfortable and relaxing experience possible.
In closing, it's obvious there is no reason to buy the game on PC or PS4. Sony can't handle what the gamers want and can't afford any exclusive partnerships like Microsoft. That's why they couldn't even pay for Shenmue 3 leaving the Sony gamers forced to pay for the games development!
